Grammar school debate to be re-ignited at Tory conference

Graham Brady, who resigned in protest at Mr Cameron's refusal to extend selective education into more areas, will ensure that the arguments in favour of grammar schools are given a proper airing at the Tory conference in Blackpool. Brady will use a fringe meeting hosted by the National Grammar Schools Association to cite what he says is mounting evidence that grammar schools drive up education standards and increase social mobility.

Team Cameron will not be happy!
