BNP supporters have legitimate concerns says Tory frontbencher

People who vote for the far-right British National Party (BNP) have "some very legitimate views" on immigration and crime according to Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, the Tory shadow Minister for Community Cohesion.

What we have seen in recent years is the BNP developing a network of suburban supporters, people who are openly willing to admit not only to supporting a racist and bigoted political party, but to doing so with pride and patriotic fervour. Can pandering to the views of people like this ever be justified?

I just don't think it is sensible or desirable to have the term BNP and the word legitimate in the same sentence.
