Tory candidate is reported for using BNP style leaflet

Luke Mackenzie, a Tory candidate in a British National Party (BNP) target ward in Basildon, has been accused of peddling scare stories by suggesting that people who wanted to stop asylum-seekers being given council houses should vote Conservative. Mackenzie, who is standing against Labour Home contributor Swatantra Nandanwar , told The Times that he did not believe that his remarks would inflame racial tensions because “people were aware of this anyway”.

The leaflet, headed “Conservatives: We’re on your side”, refers to being on the “front line” in a “battle”, talking about local people “getting organised” and “fighting back”.

It says: “I support Conservative policy of giving council housing to Basildon residents and not [of it] being used to house asylum seekers. There is a shortage of homes, but at the same time the Labour Government is encouraging record levels of immigration.”

Vote Tory get the BNP?

I think what you meant to say was "Vote Tory get Labour"

My mother ripped up her Labour membership card a couple of weeks ago. She is 82.

Our family will NEVER vote Labour again. From now on it is B.N.P.

Strange that the Green Arrow, as on my site about a month ago you said exactly the same thing. How many times can one woman rip up her card?

Snide little innuendoes come easy to you people. My Mother ripped up her Labour Party card not long ago. Fact.

I remember when you lot tried to drag up dirt on those people who had been involved in that rail disaster.

The B.N.P. will sweep you away.
